For the expansion of our Benelux Corporate Finance team we are looking for an Amsterdam-based
Associate Corporate Finance Benelux

The Associate Corporate Finance has the responsibility for origination and execution of Merger & Acquisitions and Equity Capital Market transactions. The Associate is the point of contact for a designated client base for all Corporate Finance matters.

The position
• Establish and maintain the strategic dialogue with key clients in the Benelux
• Originate and execute complex and highly visible M&A and ECM transactions
• Take responsibility for expanding the BNP Paribas franchise
• Support colleagues in improving their capabilities across the board
• Lead projects and have full client confidence
• Operate under the following principles: integrity, responsiveness, accountability, creativity, innovation, and team work

Vereisten

The requirements
• MSc diploma (preferably economics, finance or equivalent) with 5 to 7 years of experience in a comparable position
• High level of dedication, motivation and energy
• Thorough knowledge of process / key steps for different types of transactions
• Strong people and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, but also able to work in close cooperation with internal stakeholders
• Drive to take ownership of your / others’ development
• Eye for detail, whilst continuously aim to optimize ‘return on time’
• Problems solving and analytical skills with knowledge of Corporate Finance techniques
• Ability to act in accordance with applicable law and regulations
• FLUENCY IN DUTCH AND ENGLISH IS AN ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT (VERBAL AND WRITTEN), French or any other European language is an advantage
